Gonna be M.I.A. next two weeks.

Thanks to all for the excellent turnout last week at Mellow Mushroom. Counting all the “short people” the headcount was 19 !  It was nice to see  some of the old-timers back out too (thanks for coming out again Clanium)… heh heh….

Chick and I will be out for the next two weeks (convention followed by vactation). While we are out, feel free to post and call the Beer-30 locations. I will not attempt to “call the location” while long distance… heh heh…

We will be back on schedule July 24… Drink safe while we are gone :)

We are having a “kid-friendly” Beer-30 at Mellow Mushroom on Thurday this week, so bring yer youngin’ and stuff ‘em full of pizza… heh heh…

Beer-Thursday?

Thanks to all who came out to Beer-30 last week, and spent some time with Mama and Papa Stoat… heh heh… Topics included beer, fried food, Michael Jackson, cameras, astrophotography, the universe (in whole and in part), time, the speed of light & relativity, nova & supernova, black holes… and of course… Life the Universe, and Everything…

With the 4th of July being this Saturday, a lot of folk have Friday (July 3rd) off work.  So, is anyone up for a Beer-Thursday this week to kick-off the weekend?

We spent the afternoon touring Vicksburg with my parents, but we will be back in Jackson by 4:30 or so…  We will be heading to George Street for Beer-30 this evening.  C’mon out and have a beer with Mamma and Pappa Stoat :)

Martini-30

Yay!  MartiniGirl is coming to Beer-30 this week!  So, where we gonna go?  It needs to be someplace that serves martini’s… heh heh… Elixer? Pi(e)? Julip? With the first night of Jubilee Jam, we should probably pick a venue close to downtown with out actually being down in the “Jam Area”… heh heh… That way, folk can bail and head home, or head on into the festival  :)

We had a good little group at George Street last week – thanks to all who showed up.  

With  [c] getting ready to leave town soon, we aughta try to send him off with a good turnout. We ran into some old-school Beer-30 folk (from the Musiquarium days) at his house over Memorial Day weekend – We hope ya can make it out to where ever we end up this week. Consider this a “personal invitation”… heh heh…
